A liitle about the repeater

Both repeaters are located HERE, on the roof of Bath University overlooking the historic city of Bath

GB3UB is the 70cm 433mhz voice repeater and operates on 433.100/434.700mhz, ctcss 118.8hz. It uses a converted Storno base station using G8CUL logic running 10w to two Jaybeam folded dipoles. It provides hand-held coverage around the city of Bath, out towards Chippenham, down towards Midsomer Norton and across towards Westbury. It is internet linked via Echolink (node no. 201135 )
MB7UB is the APRS data digipeater.

You can find out what I do in my day job HERE.

Back in Service

It would appear that both 'boxes' are back in service. MB7UB seems to have come back on at around 0300 this morning and is passing data. Obviously no action from me so not 100% sure what the problem was.

MB7UB/GB3UB Off air

It would appear that there has been a power outage on site. GB3 UB seems to have powered up OK but MB7UB has not. I assume it this the laptop that will need to be rebooted. However unless I can find someone to go there for me I will not be able to get on site until my ankle is better.
